This course is aimed at those who are not routinely coming into contact with
children / young people and their carers, to raise staff awareness as to their responsibilities
in protecting children.
Objectives/Aims of Course
The objective of the course is to raise staff awareness as to their responsibilities in protecting children depending on their role, also to provide the information and knowledge base to support this.
- Attendees should leave the training with the ability to notice concerns that might make a child vulnerable to abuse or is potentially already being abused. Attendees should know what action to take and where to report their concerns.
On completion of this training attendees will receieve a certificate for the number of hours completed at Level 1.

Everyone working in Health Care settings who are not routinely coming into contact with children/young people and their carers.
