Objectives/Aims of Course
By the end of the training, participants will understand:
• Quality of our Diet (healthy eating based on the Eatwell Guide)
• Controlling our Portions (what is equal to a portion?)
• Fats, Sugar and Salt (Fat, Sugars and Salt is hidden in food and drinks) Making sense of food labels (what to look for when reading a label)
Who Should Attend (including pre-requisites)
This workshop is suitable for individuals, carers, veterans & serving personnel, community groups, teams or organisations, including those working or caring in community, voluntary, health & social care services & education, who are aged 16 or over, living or working in or around the Plymouth area.
